When I was a little girl I spent most of my free time dressing up like Laura Ingles Wilder, woo’ing my little sisters to tag along and pretend we were in our own version of Little House on the Prairie. Equally matched with reading everything I could get my hands on, and finding quiet places to write all sorts of stories.

Combined with my Aunt Martha taking me on dates to book stores, letting me choose a new title followed by drinking hot chocolate - marked the beginning of a love affair with writing, books and the power of story. Imagination met kindreds in the characters that made up Anne of Green Gables, The Railway Children, Little Women and Pride & Prejudice.

With a love for words and deep belief in the power of story, this is a space to share what’s on my heart and mind these days. A space for the fall down and get back up words, and the ones what I am learning on a journey of wholeness and healing — a place to simply help walk each other home.
